Tara Truhan is the Director of Corporate and University Partnerships and an Adjunct Professor at LIM College, a private college focused on the business of fashion located in New York City. She has earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus of Psychology from Hofstra University. Her career has spanned across several different areas of high education including: external affairs and alumni relations, career services, counseling and wellness, and Title IX. In her current role, she develops global corporate and university partnerships to advance the mission and strategic plans to bring cutting edge educational opportunities to the college. She oversees the development and recruitment of summer programs and teaches undergraduate and graduate level career courses. She is a strategic thinker and an effective communicator who enjoys collaborations, thrives when bringing new ideas to life, and strives to bring out the best in others. She lives on Long Island with her husband and son, who inspire her daily. In her free time, she enjoys training for half marathons and practicing yoga.
