REFLECTING ON WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

As we reflect on this March 2021 celebration of Women’s History Month, I want to again shine the spotlight on Ilka Jordan, CEO of Jordan Alliance Group (JAG). Ilka and our JAG team represent true strength, power, resilience, and sustainability more than ever. We are still standing strong after 2020 and continuing to help our apparel supply chain partners find their way back from the confusion and unpredictability of last year.

The challenge of 2020 also brought us a great deal of opportunities that we are extremely proud of. JAG’s recognition by CIO Magazine as one of the top 10 Digital Transformation Consulting Service Companies has been an honor we continue to live up to. JAG understands the Fashion, Supply Chain Industry must continue to advance in sustainable digital technology in order to strive, survive, and thrive into the next decade.

This Women’s History Month, Ilka and the women of JAG, launched JAG Collective, our branch where thought leaders come together to collaborate, share ideas, strengthen communities and foster sustainable business growth. JAG Collective team members challenge one another to think critically and strategically to become better leaders making better decisions to achieve game-changing results.

This year JAG is also officially launching its JAG Learn branch of Jordan Alliance Group providing professional Learning & Development Services to individuals, entrepreneurs, academic institutions, and corporations big and small. JAG Learn will promote career growth and development with access to industry professionals and certified Change Management Practitioners through a variety of forums and platforms including webinars, seminars, one-on-one coaching, resume building, and more.

Our JAG women and all women in business deserve a round of applauds this Women's History Month for their continued dedication and resilience despite challenges. We stand on the shoulders of the women who came before us; women who paved the way for leaders like Kamala Harris, who after serving as a US Senator from 2017-2021, became the 49th Vice President of the United States. Kamala was the first woman and the first African American to hold that post.

Women entrepreneurs also continue to challenge the discrimination they face every day in the labor force, never giving up. In 1987, after being petitioned by the National Women's History Project, Congress passed a bill which designated the entire month of March as Women's History Month and the tradition continues today.

JAG has proven time and time again, that there is a better way to conduct business while saving money and time. A way that involves thinking strategically, intentionally, and sustainably.
